Head Captain of the 47 Brigades of the Special Executions Police Force, Shouta Mikoshiba stands above all others. Within the Tokkei, ranking is in accordance with skill, combat expertise, and ratio of successfully completed missions. Becoming Captain of the First Brigade at nineteen and in his first year of service, Shouta has maintained his position and his 100% success rate for five years running, a record-breaking longevity within the Tokkei since its inception.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL — Tall. On the limber side, with broad shoulders, a slim waist, long limbs, and decent muscle mass. His typical posture is languid and slouchy without being ungainly, but he can be made to tense up very fast. He's utilitarian in his movement - not particularly strict with it and favoring blunt elegance. His hair is a fiery auburn situation and he has heterochromia, with one green eye and one blue eye, though this isn't extremely noticeable. There's a beauty mark on the left side of his chin, and the guy has eyelashes for days.
AURAL — Sharp and clear and commanding, falling just on the deeper side of the spectrum, though it's not without its young points. He can tone it down (and does in certain company) but he likes the power it has. He speaks easily but with underlying force. As captain he knows how to speak to get his way, loud and clear. Off the job, he's a fair bit more reserved in tone. He's voiced by Suzumura Kenichi in the drama CDs.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE — He was literally born for it. Despite making a name for himself in the killing business, Shouta's violence tends to come from the heart, whether it's controlled or explosive. He blows off steam by going to the shooting range. That said, he is still (mostly) human, with all the limitations of a human body.
RELATIONSHIPS/SEX — While Shouta might have a derailing train's worth of baggage and then the fiery crash's worth of subsequent hauntings, he loves people easily and will go out of his way to forge trust with just about anyone. (In all seriousness though, he can dual-wield .50 caliber Desert Eagles and leave dents in steel when he's angry enough.) His body is in top physical condition, though his liver is probably suffering, and he has a scar from a gunshot wound in his chest that acts up sometimes.
MENTAL INFO — Messed up. Shouta's undergone a lot of experimentation in secrecy, on top of the traumatic events he's been through. Since he was young, he's often been sedated, kidnapped, and subject to brain surgeries to alter his memories or mess with his compliance. Many pivotal moments in his life are difficult for him to remember right because of this, if he remembers anything at all. On top of that is the guilt that stems from killing his partner (a situation that was still shrouded in mystery to him), and the strain of his job. He likely has PTSD, turns to alcohol, and has difficulty sleeping due to nightmares.
